NFL will put words "END RACISM" in the endzones

NFL is 75% black when it should be 13% black and they lecture about racism!!!

I won’t be seeing it and if NBA ratings are any indication neither will many others

As long as NFL does this shit, I won’t watch. And it is very dangerous for NFL to do this now as TV contracts are up for renewal soon. Low ratings isn’t going get drive big dollars from networks.

Maybe Goodell will just move the league to Europe.

"End racism" is a bit controversial for you, is it?

It's where it shouldn't be. Sports are entertainment and about the game, not about in-your-face politics. What makes it worse is these millionaire players whine about this crap while working. Save it for off the field.

I don't really consider it to be "in your face." And it doesn't effect my enjoyment of the game even the teeniest, tiniest iota.

In a football game it would be a hour and a half to two hour commercial for all intents. That's in-you-face. If it doesn't bother you fine, watch. Me, it's one more reason not to watch professional sports.

But seriously - what is offensive about that commercial? It's like writing "have a nice day." Why would "end racism" offend someone...unless they didn't want to end racism?

I am done with entertainers deciding that they get a hand in how my head is organized.

They can do their jobs or else fuck off....their choice.

Either Or.

It is political. It isn't neutral like "have a nice day." Politics don't belong in sports. Aside from that, the question becomes once it is on the field in the end zone, How does the NFL propose to do that within its own corporate structure? That too then becomes political. You see, this is insidious. It lets political forces worm their way into every nook and cranny of pro sports and then put it on television forcing those who watch those sports to watch the politics that are now involved.

It's "Listen to me, do as I say, I now better than you do".

So called entertainers......

Fuck Them
