However, it is legal to advocate a change in the law. It is even legal to change the law. Promoting the use while it is still illegal is not a stance the school should take, nor arguing the advocacy of such an action.

But to effectively argue the debate on drugs, one side must take the position of advocating their use?

And bringing back an older point, if promoting illegal activities is wrong, why do movies get away with it? Why can they advocate and make appear glamourous casino robbery, or murder?

Second, nobody is "ignoring" the fact that he is a private citizen. As we have already pointed out to you.... THAT IS ALWAYS THE CASE. Here is a little bit of interesting news for you retard.... even when he is physically INSIDE his school... he is on public property. So the fact that he is on public property is also not an issue in this case. THE ISSUE is was the school responsible for him.

Nope. One can take a position on legality without advocating breaking current law.

Movies tell a story, they don't often advocate specific action.

I just went through all the dessenting opinions and none mentioned the issue so I guess you guys are right that they "agreed" with that portion of the decision.

I will still stand with the lower courts in their decisions that He was NOT under the schools direction at the time.

Does a principle have the right to stop a student not on school grounds and take thier backpack because they have a majiauna leaf on it?

NO

There are distinct times he can control that child and when he cant.

This guy was not under school supervision at the time and the fact that he was close to the school at the time does not change this.
 
Gotta love this...

The ACLU is finally getting a taste of their own medicine...they have argued vehemently against religious free speech and the Boy Scouts of America...now their arguments came back to bite them in their proverbial butts!
