No Kings Day Protest - October 18, 2025

I hear you on Calculus…differential equations too…and trigonometric identities, all night on one question.

The derivative of tan x is the square of sec x.

Proving it is not so simple,
Indeed. My genius ME sister in law helped get me through Calculus.

Lol, 'tripe.' Another word only ever used by you and your boyfriend. I get the feeling you learned it from the back of a cereal box and think of it as the smartest word you've ever learned, so you've added it to your 3rd grade vocabulary. I've noticed you use it often, good work! Maybe it's time for another kind of cereal.
He probably doesn't even know what 'tripe' means.

See there I told you so. They have signed documents on all three of her mortgages that PROVE she lied on them. A FEDERAL grand jury in LIBERAL Eastern Virginia says she should be prosecuted so why don't you think she should be prosecuted?
Because the law says there's no clear evidence that she committed a crime. So this can go several ways. She can go to trial, she can plead guilty, or the charges can be dismissed. I'm betting on the third one.

"Prosecutors allege that James misled a bank in order to get more favorable terms on a loan, specifically claiming that a property was going to be a secondary residence, when, according to prosecutors, it was going to be rented out for profit.

However, following a five-month investigation and interviews with more than a dozen witnesses, federal prosecutors uncovered no clear evidence against James, sources told ABC News."

this is the Leticia James in a box problem.
it's a probability issue.

of course, thinking people don't gamble.

:truestory:

More goofy tripe by Toby-clown.

I do, Ma’am.
Okay! "Yinz" is the equivalent of "y'all." "Stillers" is the Pgh. way of pronouncing "-eel" words as "-ill"... Stillers v. Steelers. "'n'at" is a short cut for "and that" and is used like "et cetera" or "whatever" at the end of a sentence. "Dahntown" is "downtown." And we don't "clean up the house," we "redd up the mess."

I like listening to dialects, especially Southern ones because they're so creative.

Then acknowledge the antisemites Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.
Democrats did for Omar. I disagree with her comments 100%. I haven't looked at Tlaib yet.

"Democrats are poised to vote on a measure denouncing anti-semitism that is seen as a rebuke to Representative Ilhan Omar, whose comments on the Israel lobby in Washington have embroiled her in controversy and accusations that she has used anti-semitic tropes...

Those comments were met with outrage from Republicans and many Democrats, who said that Ms Omar’s claims that pro-Israel sentiment in Washington is influenced by the pro-Israel lobby played into anti-Semitic tropes about Jewish people and money."

I haven't looked at Tlaib yet.

Way to mix it up, Toby-clown. I can't express how hurt I am right now. At the same time I'm truly flattered by how much time and thought a moron like yourself spent coming up with such a devastating retort.

I'll save you the search: Retort: a quick, witty, or sharp reply, often sarcastic, used to counter an argument or an insult.

OK, so you do have slugs as low as Booby and MTG. Although MTG has been siding w/ you lately.

The type of foolish tripe that you post doesn't merit spending much time to respond to.

Hahahahahaha, okay that was funny. Usually I at least skim through the first page of a thread, but this one I didn't. Thanks for pointing that out.
Bad habit. Most of the better arguments and counterarguments are presented there! After awhile, almost any thread on JPP just dissolves into insult strings and inane subtopics.

The first page is almost always better than the last page of a thread.
