This is new to me. Who does Halloween offend or leave out?


Halloween party dumped at school in Broomfield

BROOMFIELD - There won't be little ghosts and goblins at Kohl Elementary School this Halloween.
In a newsletter sent home to parents, Principal Cindy Kaier wrote that the traditional Halloween party celebrated in classrooms each year will be replaced by a fall party on Friday.

And because the party is focused on fall, not Halloween, children can't wear costumes.

Parents expressed frustration that they weren't included in the decision.

Brook Kimber said it's hard to explain a random Oct. 5 party to a child.

The decision came after a discussion that culminated in an "emotional" meeting with teachers that focused on school holiday parties and how Kohl could continue to celebrate without leaving out anyone.

I don't know how the two associate. Maybe the school didn't want to put up Ramadan decorations so they "genericked" up another of the holidays. Instead they will celebrate a "Fall Holiday" and nobody gets to wear costumes.
 
GOOD RIDDANCE. DON"T WANT MY KID CELEBRATIN A VILE SATANIST HOLIDAY IF THEY CANT EVEN PRAY IN SCHOOL.
 
A. Shouldn't kids be learning important stuff in school and not be having parties and dress up?

B. Evangelical fundies are against halloween cuz it is satanist.

I understand that. But they know the kids will celebrate it if they don't do something. So, they teach about how the "Jack-o-lantern was created" and have the kids bob for apples. This keeps them learning about how 'evil' it is while they get to have fun like their secular counterparts.

I did not realize that you could not afford a costume...or lacked the ability to create one...my bad, see your counselor in the morning if this depressed you!


And by the way we had cool priests when I was a kid...never met a weirdo or perverted priest when I was a kid...a couple of perverted nuns though...thats why I shared my booty with them...lol... and i'm sorry to hear that you could not outrun the weirdo priests of your day... you should have went out for track...maybe then you would not be sooo depressed!...;)

So fundamentalist kids don't get to trick or treat and are thus left out?

Being a mensa, it did not take me long to realize that your problem is a common one among the drunken promiscious set? I would see your doctor they can take care of that with some antibiotics these days, thanks to another mensa who invented penecillian, maybe you have heard of him, Joseph Pulitzer, but probably not you are too stupit to know?
