No More Halloween? What's up Damo?

Whatever.............

Being a mensa, it did not take me long to realize that your problem is a common one among the drunken promiscious set? I would see your doctor they can take care of that with some antibiotics these days, thanks to another mensa who invented penecillian, maybe you have heard of him, Joseph Pulitzer, but probably not you are too stupit to know?

RJS...aka RWA aka...azzhat... aka whatever costume you put on for Halloween!...

The Christians and the Jews adopted a lot of pagan holidays and made them their own, if you can't beat them, join them.

The pagan would convert, but they didn't want to give up their celebrations.

The Catholics make up for the pagan celebration by having All Saints Day, a holy day, the next day. Sin on the eve, pray on the HOLIday and be forgiven!

I love listening to the progressive version of Rush Limbaugh.

I see him as more centrist than is Limbaugh...

Limbaugh latest "most stupid thing to come out of his mouth" comparing a wounded Iraqi vet who has come home to protest the war to a suicide bomber!!!!!

I could not believe it!

He reaches a new low! Does he think saying things like this helps his cause?

So fundamentalist kids don't get to trick or treat and are thus left out?

I used to live next door to a seriously fundamental family. They had a bunch of kids who acted like Rod and Todd from the simpsons. Every Halloween they would turn out their lights and head to a back room in their house and not answer the door. We got a steady stream of halloweeners for about 3-4 hrs and I sent everyone of them next door to ring the bell and pound on their door. My wife would get mad and say its a lousy thing to do, but hey, Trick or Treat! :burn:

He was saying the guy is getting used. You are incorrectly paraphrasing what he said.

The "phony soldiers" comment was not directed at the guy who was used in the commercial. It was directed at people who have pretended to be soldiers in order to try and gain legitimacy on their issue or to get health care from the VA. It was not directed at the soldier who came home injured and is now against the war.

There are a lot more fundamentalist areas in the U.S. than Colorado and I've not heard of one school saying they can't celebrate Halloween and let the kids dress up.

I saw one opinion piece writer refer to Colorado Springs as the home of the Christian Taliban. That sounds pretty fundamentalist to me.

I wonder where you can check to see where the highest concentration of fundies are, so I won't move there! It would be my luck!

Alaska...

;)

J/k.

CO Springs would be the highest concentration that I know of. What is mucked up is they chose that spot because the Satanic Bible was written there too.
