Not about religion or the miliita

You do know that voting them out is removing them, right?

You did see the part of the letter that said if they didn't remove themselves in three days they would be removed.

So tell me how many Governors are up for re-election in the next three days?

Right if they don't quit they'll work to vote them out. It isn't difficult. They don't have to wait until the next election to resign.

No, he's just hacktacularly misinterpreting based on bias and what he wants to hear.

".....governors.... have received letters demanding they leave office within three days or be forcibly removed."

I don't know about you Zap, but when I see a note that says "leave in three days, or be FORCIBLY removed", the first thing that comes to my mind is that they are simply refering to working diligently in an election campaign to oust the governor.

I have no idea how you construed this to be anything other than a benign reference to our democratic processes.

Right...one question...are all Buddists such pompous douchebags all the time??

Spin this one.."As of Wednesday, governors – including Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a Democrat, and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a Republican – had received letters demanding they leave office within three days or be forcibly removed, according to an internal intelligence note by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security"

spin "forcibly removed" to make it mean the next election.

You better ask Damo, he's got all the answers.

"Forcibly Removed" doesn't sound like anyone's waiting til the next election...but then, I'm not a brainiac like Damo.

When they lose the election, they will be forced to vacate the premises so the newly elected person can conduct his service.

The nine members of a militia arrested in Michigan for plotting an armed rebellion against the U.S. government called their Christian paramilitary cell the Hutaree, an invented name almost as silly as the alleged plotters were dangerous.

According to federal indictments unsealed this week in Detroit, the heavily armed Christian militia planned a series of terror attacks including the murder of a law enforcement officer and the ambushing of the funeral procession. The suspects are facing multiple sedition and weapons charges that could result in decades behind bars if convicted.

The Michigan-based group hoped to spark a nationwide uprising against the government by other militias. Because the members of the Hutaree allegedly believe a confrontation with the federal government is inevitable, the FBI decided to take the offensive.

Rather than risk the death of even one innocent person, the authorities busted the militia before they could act. Those in custody are all working-class Midwesterners who consider themselves God-fearing Americans. It's obvious that their hatred for those who don't share their views is a parody of every religion on the planet.

Last April, the Department of Homeland Security issued a report that warned of the rise of Christian militias, right-wing extremists and domestic terrorists. Conservatives took offense and the Obama administration beat a half retreat from the issue. It may be time to dust off that Homeland Security report and take its warning to heart. The Hutaree is not the only extremist Christian militia out there.

so did they actually do anything to anyone?

Thought not.

This reeks of trumped up charges and planted evidence. They will go free.

Okay, now I see.

Because in the past this country has had a difficult time getting sitting Governors to step down when they've lost an election. They simply refuse to go unless forcibly removed...is that what you are claiming?

And you were whining about Cavuto and Varney being bought and sold...

"Forcibly remove"?

Yelling 'fire' in a cowded theater is not free speech. It's irresponsible and dangerous.

I am willing to speculate that the apologists for the current crop of so-called "patriots" would sing a different tune had a leftist group offered to "forcibly remove" ex-Givernor Palin.

When people lose elections, they will be forcibly removed if they do not go of their own accord.

Well OF COURSE!!

Those letters weren't sent to threaten...because the USA has a HISTORY of Governors who refuse to step down after losing an election...so this was just fair warning to the NEXT Governor who tries the same, RIGHT?

Can things happen that never happened before? yes or no.
