Also, the price of oil is dictated by OPEC since they are a cartel that controls the market.
OPEC increases or cuts production depending on what will make them the most money.

The president can have a tremendous effect on the market. A president by policies, like curtailing drilling, and not handing out new permits for stuff, effects how the market thinks things will go in the future, and that in turn effects prices.
Same with food. From trucking to agriculture and everything in between, a president's regulatory policies and decisions have an impact on the market. If the president lets the EPA tighten standards on say, diesel emissions from trucks, that effects the price of trucks and in turn the price of trucking stuff.

Biden's infrastructure and inflation bill have only caused a decay in infrastructure and more inflation.

And his tax cut policy did more to increase the deficit because the vast majority of the money went to corporations and people so wealthy they didn't need a tax cut, rather than targeting the people who actually spend the extra money they got on consumer goods rather than stashing it in offshore banks and investments that don't help the economy at all.
Trump's tax cut was just like every other Republican tax cut.... a windfall giveaway to their mega wealthy campaign contributors while throwing the middle and working classes a bone with the knowledge that their gullible voting base won't know or even care.

Any production increase or decrease the US does will be met with an equal OR GREATER production increase or decrease from OPEC in order to either:
1. Maintain the price per barrel
2. Cut production back in order to make the price go up
3. Ramp production up in order to make the price go down in an attempt to bankrupt competitors which is exactly what OPEC did in 2015 that killed the US Shale Industry and resulted in the bankruptcy of over 100 Natural Gas Companies to the tune of $100B.
The only way the US can lower the price per barrel for US consumers is to nationalize the oil industry and ban oil exports.
But something tells me you don't support the only solution because you're a dumb as fuck Nazi like all the rest.
