Wait… It’s the conservatives who are advocating the watering down of math in our public schools? I missed that. Thanks for straightening that out for me.

Don't you right wingers ever tire of whining about everything?!
Whining? I didn’t know I was whining. Thank you for letting me know that.

Why does the right refuse the reality that math really can aid in figuring out and managing our economy?
Because they want a crash and boom economy where the populace is kept in poverty
And the WEALTHY constantly rape our system
It’s why Republican hate public education and seek to destroy it by starving it to death and harass all the school districts with Evil lies about what is being taught
Cracks me up when Republicans and libertarians whine about few kids taking calculus and then the idiots follow the short bus school of economics of doing economics that don’t include math

Pubic education is it's own worst enemy. It is destroying itself, no help needed. The further it pushes Left, the more concerned parents and students will end up taking an alternative route to an education. When pubic schools are more interested in teaching students about "social and economic justice" and how to protest, or about the finer points of kink and fetish sexual practices than about reading, writing, or math, there's a problem and it isn't the students or parents that's it.
No, it's the Left that's not so much "watering down math" but rather they're obfuscating it with insane and unworkable methodologies and pedagogies like Common Core math...

WTF are you even babbling about here? Got any math examples of what you mean?
A lot of professional educators think math needs to be taught differently, with a more holistic focus on statistics and applied mathematics.
The traditional four year linear track we took going from algebra to geometry to trig to calculus always felt a little piecemeal to me and it was hard sometimes to piece it all together in real world application.
