Many jobs require the flu vaccine. Ever since I have been in a systemically important position, I have been required to get a flu vaccine. The military definitely requires a flu vaccine, as do medical jobs.

Not only do we need the annual flu shot, but an annual TB test (where a bubble of fluid is injected under your skin) or a chest X-ray if you don't want the skin test. Many facilities also require Hep A & B vaccines.

Also factor in that "the experts" are often run through a filter of politicians which creates more confusion. Trump did it and Biden is doing it. Sure, I get "keep the public calm but informed", but the confusing bullshit coming out of the CDC was 100% due to the cocksuckers in Congress and the WH.
