Now is anyone watching the GOP debate?

Have to wonder what these people are thinking, they are, having also been, trying to overtake Trump but other than Christie, all of them are afraid of directly taking on Trump, attacking him as the primary leader, so it makes you wonder why are they bothering, useless effort

This is what I am doing, as a bake a chicken pot pie in the stoneware that I almost never use:

Gaza Fighting Standstill, US/UK Quagmire Fears: Israel Short of Time; Zaluzhny Rumours, Rus Advances

I'm not watching. 1) what are they discussing? 2) this seems to be a liberal talking point here, that somehow the candidates aren't taking on Trump, what exactly would that entail that you think they aren't doing?

It means alienating their voting bases.

Oh I’m not watching, I did watch parts of a couple a while back, but like all TV debates, Democrat or Republican, they just exchange talking points, which being the challenger, usually just translates into bashing the incumbent

But I still don’t understand how they would expect to win while bowing down to the front runner, why would anyone support them

Yes I have the debate on TV and Trump on the laptop on RSBN

It is on NBC so it is questions from liberal moderators

I'm haven't watched a second of any of the debates so I can't speak to them but if you've only seen a little bit of them how do you know they didn't go after him in the segments you missed? (I'm not saying they did rather just asking the question)

SS, DD. I'll catch the synopsis on both CNN and Fox tomorrow.

Vivek proposed building two walls, one on the Mexican border and one on the Canadian border.

Is he trying to keep people in or out?

Nikki kicked ass on the abortion issue. Watching the men talk about controlling women through abortion was fun.

Christie is the only person on that stage that wouldn't catch an aluminum baseball bat just for coming to my front door.
[No, the bitch doesn't get an exception. I hate Haley.]

I don't like any Republican politician on issues, but Christie isn't totally repugnant as a person.

Now I'll watch the MSNBC commentators make fun of all of those assholes.

I watched. A lot of tension between Nikki and Vivek. Tim Scott's closing statement was scary, he sounded like an ayatollah.

"However, at the end of the debate, a moderator asked Scott to explain why he and not Trump would be the party’s best choice to tackle the important issues facing the country. Scott said the country should “turn back” to Christian faith, even though approximately 122 million Americans across the nation aren’t Christian.

“There is a crisis that is growing in our nation and that crisis is cultural and spiritual. We need a renewal a great awakening,” Scott said. “We should reject the Left’s valueless, faithless, fatherless society, we should turn back to faith, patriotism, and individual responsibility. We should stop choosing victimhood and start choosing victory. We should stop kneeling in protest and start kneeling in prayer...”

“I do not just want to win the battle against Joe Biden. I want us to gather to win the war, the war for Christian conservative values that changed my life.”

Yet he always works for liberals. Good luck with him being conservative

Hewitt works for Salem Radio, one of the hosts of the debate. Salem Radio is extremely right wing. He is not taken seriously outside of right wing circles, so I cannot think of any job that he did for mainstream media. The most left wing network he has touched is FoxNews.

Clearly we have gotten to a point that if you are not wearing a swastika, many on the alt right consider you a conservative.

I'm not so sure about the swastika since the former Alt-Right President accepted them at Charlottesville and 1/6.

Sure, the Pedo Nazis are the lowest rung of the MAGAt pecking order, but they are still considered to be members of the Alt-Right movement.
