Just admit that the entire union thing is to protect worker's rights, to make sure they don't die because of unsafe working conditions, to insure a worker can't be fired for no reason, to lift the poor into the middle class, to add tax revenues to the till, to grow our economy, and to strengthen our country as a whole. No, disagreed. Flat taxes lower the tax burden on the wealthy even further. It is called eliminating capital gains and replacing it with eared income.

That's the reason the right has brainwashed a large part of the population against unions. Unions know that by and large the Democratic party will back their right to earn a living wage and their rights as workers. We've seen what happens when labor is not unionized and why for the last 100 yrs workers fought you fascists for their rights in the work place and their freedom to earn enough money for a decent life.

His capital gains tax rate is exactly the same as yours.....he only gets screwed when or if he has to pay earned income tax.....

Yours would be about 10 to 16% and he would be paying 35%....and maybe it will be 39.5% next year.....
