“Yesterday, the Trump administration began indiscriminately laying off Hanford workers in Washington state,” said Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., in a prepared statement Friday.

Workers assigned to Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, also lost their jobs, as well as employees of Bonneville Power Administration, she said. She suspects there have been hundreds of layoffs at BPA, which supplies much of the electricity for the Tri-Cities area. Murray said that more than a dozen DOE workers were laid off at DOE’s Hanford office in Richland, including safety engineers and environmental scientists. They apparently were people who had been hired within the last one to two years and were still in a probationary period of their jobs with the federal government. “These reckless firings will slow down critical cleanup work and make workers less safe,” Murray said. “Trying to run Hanford with a skeleton crew is a recipe for disaster that could have irreversible impacts.”

They are not evaluating the workers. That would take time. Wotkers are not worth that trouble to evaluate them. They just fire everyone. If you cannot see Musk's message, you are blind. Workers and their lives are unimportant, and not worth the effort to evaluate . Fick it, fire them all. Trump is the same.

4 plane crashed since Trump took office so lets cut back on over worked Aircraft controllers and see how that works out.
Again Musk is going in and " trimming " things with a bulldozer when it could have been done with a hand saw.

There is no way to do what Musk is doing legally. They are making decisions about employees who have attained levels of clearance to do their jobs. Musk and his staff of kids were not vetted. They were not questioned. They have not received clearances. They just Trump bullied their way into organizations that they did not understand. They decided they were the experts and they would make the decisions. There is no justification for this.
