A few days ago, it was 400 probationary employees. It is now higher. They seem to be firing random people with little thinking. They think they have not firing controllers, but they have definitely fired people who repair the radar systems. The maintenance people are even more short staffed than the controllers, so this is a disaster.

They also fired the people who were installing the early warning system in Hawaii. Because they switched departments to do that job, they are all technically probationary. Whoever at DODGE who decided to fire them did not pay attention to what they do.
