They didn't have any armies to speak of... They still signed on with the Allies.

The British were looking after their oil interests in Iran and Iraq...

That Arabs did fight along with the British to drive out the Ottomans years earlier so that's probably why the British betrayed them and gave Palestine to European Jews.

I don't know how old you are but as far back as 1973 Israel threatened that if they were losing they would bomb the Saudi oil fields.. Golde Meir to Richard Nixon when they were losing the Yom Kippur war.. Then, Iran says that if the US or Israel messes with them they will bomb the Saudi oilfields.

I went to university in the 70s, does that help? Now, returning to the WW2, do you deny that, but for the Brits, the entire Middle East would have been controlled by Germany? That includes the Suez Canal, Red Sea, Persian Gulf, the Horn of Africa and the Maghreb.

I doubt it. Shitain was a spent force at the end the US could have won it with Russia even if Britain became German territory. I mean in battle cannon fodder is good but its not 100% necessary and you can use other pieces for it.
