Obama caught lying

Then you must have some proof that what was read was ACTUALLY PENNED by the miners.

You've lied to me too many times for me to take your word on this.

If a company exec can make employee attendance at a Romney event mandatory, as he has already acknowledged, then he can surely put together a letter to be read by an employee worried about possibly losing his job.

Why don't you prove they didn't author the letter.....

If the miners themselves deny your bullshit allegation, then the issue if settled...

I don't need proof that there were consequences. When your employer tells you that attendance at something is "mandatory" (their word, not mine) it is generally understood to mean that you have to be there or there will be adverse consequences. If you can show me that the employer told its employees that attendance was "mandatory" but that there would be no consequences for not showing up and told the employees all of this prior to the event, I will re-evaluate my opinion of the matter.

Based on what we know, the after the fact lack of consequences is bullshit of the highest order.

Hilarious

what we know is, employees did not show up. they most likely knew there would be no consequences.

your speculation that mandatory = compulsion is pure fiction. all you can you give us is pure speculation. you say the executive was telling the truth that is was mandatory, but lying that there would be no repercussions...you can't have it both ways. you only want to believe the man when he says what you want him to say, but when he says something that doesn't fit your world view....all of a sudden it is bullshit.

how sad your world view is dung.

The executive didn't say that there "would be no repercussions." He said that there were no repercussions. There's a big difference. Like I said, if you can show me that the employees were informed -- before the fact -- that there would be no repercussions for not attending the "mandatory" event I will re-evaluate my opinion of the matter.

Coal is very bad. Coal often contains deposits of uranium and/or thorium, which is released into the atmosphere when the coal is combusted. I tend to agree with Obama on the issue of coal.
