Obama = Cincy Bengals

After this year manning will be a shadow of the legend Brady is. finnally this year (first year) Brady has the receiver core that manning has had all these years.. hence bradys absurd numbers.

Funny - in all of these comparisons, I never really hear anyone talk about "what if Manning had the Defense that Brady had" or "what if Manning had a coach like Brady has"....

They're both greats. Pats fans want to annoint Brady as lone God, but they'll both be top 5 when all is said & done.

Manning is what I would consider a full package QB. He's smart, dedicated, and accurate. He is good at reading defenses and fitting the ball where it needs to be placed. He and his recievers have a lot of good chemistry because he's been working with them for years now. He knows where they are going to be and fits the ball in that tight space. He doesn't have a reciever like Moss where you can just toss it up and he has it. I still think Braylon Edwards is better than Moss in that respect.

Brady is a good QB, but I would never say he is better than Manning.

Its no question in my mind.. look at the receivers that they have had since 2001.
Brady had David Givens, Deion Branch, and David Patten at receivers and was able to win 3 super bowls.
- Givens is currently behind Biren Ealy on the Tennessee depth chart.
- Branch has scored a grand total of five TDs in 19 games with the Seahawks.
- Patten has managed 50 total receptions in 23 games with two different teams...after posting 61 catches as a third-stringer for the Pats in 2002.
Even with mediocre wideouts, Brady found a way to win three Super Bowls in six years.
Take Peyton's lethal weapons away from him for one game, and you get six interceptions and a loss... to the struggling Chargers.
I wonder how Manning would have fared in Foxboro all those years with the limited talent Brady had at his disposal—but I'll leave the answer up to your imagination.

This is why Pats fans are total homers. I guess the Pats great defense had nothing to do with that?

And to take ONE game from Manning as conclusive evidence of how he fares w/out his weapons...ridiculous.

You argue politics the same way.

manning is a sell out. lol hes to busy making excuses for loosing and starring in commercials to actually deal with having a depleted receiver core.

Yeah, Brady didn't have as many offensive weapons as far as personnel are concerned but you forgot to mention that Brady had the benefit of the defensive play calling.

I wonder what Manning could do with the defensive play calls . . .

Hillary is more like the Dallas Cowboys this year.

Her fans, and only her fans, are certain that she'll win it all. And if by some miracle she pulls it off, no one in the rest of the country will really be all that happy about it.

OK Lorax. That is low. I don't care if the rest of the country won't be happy about a Cowboys miracle this year.......and it would be a miracle, but to compare Hillary to my Cowboys.....that's as low as you've gone in a while. ;)

its a non issue. proof is since game 1

Non-issue to homers like you.

They won their Super Bowls by three point each. Knowing the defensive play calls can certainly make a three point impact on a game. Those championships are a fraud. If they win this year it will be their first legitimate Super Bowl victory.

Oh, no! Didn't realize you were a 'Boys fan, lr. Up where I live, they are truly hated (though, for the 1st time, the loathing for them is actually being surpassed by the extreme disdain for the Patriots).

They're actually looking pretty good. I don't know how anyone can dislike Romo; the guy is always smiling, no matter what happens (might be a form of psychosis, but I still like it).

Still, they probably picked the wrong year to be good...

Yea. I can think of three teams in the AFC that would probably beat them easily. Oh well, it is fun to watch them and I really do like Romo's attitude.

Since the scandal, I've had football chats with locals in 3 different regions in the country: west coast, south & northeast. Personally, I think the spying scandal was overblown, but without fail, everytime I mention that it looks like the Pats might win it all this year, the inevitable response is, "Yeah...but they cheat."
