As the article mentioned, previously incumbent Presidents have not campaigned during the opponents convention. Obama is doing so because he is scared of what will happen if he isn't the main talking point of his media.

This 'tiny little op-ed piece' doesn't prove anything... it is the fact that Obama is going to be campaigning during the Rep conventions that shows he is scared.

i wouldn't say obama is scared, he might be somewhat nervous....but i don't think we can't take his style of campaigning as proof he is scared. obama has campaigned differently than anyone else.
