Obama or Clinton better president if we have another 911?

Chapdog

Abreast of the situations
So many just chalk it up that Hillary would be better president for another 911 or a international crisis.

Why do people think this? Im curious?

they do? I hadn't heard that. Except maybe from her own campaign people, with the whole "experience" angle.

seems to be the jist of some of the exits out of NH as well as talking heads and the Clinton's them selves.

I just wonder how it is thats shes the 'experienced' candidate? did she run the military under bill? hell i didn't even hear much from her after 911 when it was her state. thats right she was senator from NY when 911 happened..

I dont know, but I belive that they would both do 1000x's better than Bush did!

If there is another "9/11" .. who would have the culprits, the neocons, arrested?

Neither of them.

Slim chance Obama.

No chance Clinton.

Obama can deliver a better speech so I'd say Obama. Given the accolades bestowed upon Rudy Giuliani for speechifying after the attack apparently giving good speeches is all that is required to be deemed a great leader.

Thanks to Bush, my bar is pretty low as to what I'd consider good. Using good intel will put someone at superstar status in my book these days.

I was watching MSNBC this morning and Joe Scarborough pointed out something that I think is telling, especially coming from someone that is without a doubt a republican. He said that prior to 1981 Ronal Reagan had NO foreign policy experience either.

The question should say when not if.

I think Hillary would go beserk and set off some nukes: woman scorned and all that. Obama on the other hand would call Oprah and they's cry about it.

I'd rather see Hillary's solution. Lots more interesting.

Just curious, but do you ever miss an opportunity to bash Bush?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I rarely do. The man has been an unmitigated disaster for this country, and for the world. His negligence on some issues will take years to rectify, and the damage caused by his decisions on the few issues he IS engaged on will take decades to undo, if it can in fact be undone.

I will bash him at every single available opportunity.

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

The bush enablers would like everyone to forget the mangled presidency of Bush.
Ain't gonna happen as far as I am concerned.

Don't neglect to bash people who voted for Bush :)

As I recall Libs said the same thing about Reagan. Remember, that man, "Idiot Raygun", responsible for defeating the soviet Union without firing a single shot?

Bush 43 will have a great legacy. :)

How 'bout Romney or McCain.... Better President if we have another 9/11?

;)
Why do you guys even talk about this. We are fightin' em in Iraq so we don't have to fight em here. There will be no 9/11 ever again cause we overthrew Saddam and killed Udday and Qusay so the world is safe from another 9/11.

Now back to reality. By another 9/11 do you mean more planes flown into buildings? Some huge explosion? What. Al Qaeda screwed themselves by being so successful in September of 2001, because if forced the rest of the world to review their intell gathering apparatus. The US had become enamored of high tech gadgets to gather intel and had let the humint side of the house go to shit. That has been changed, more efforts are being put forth to turning human assets on that side and placing assets from this side. This is what is going to protect us from another 9/11, but if the Repubs and SOME dems can't scare us with "the next 9/11" we might elect someone not chosen for us by the powers that be.
