I watched most of the speech, and none of the commentary. How was your candlelight vigil? Did y'all sing Kumbayah afterward?

Oh, we don't have to get an interpretation, Rush usually has the actual audio of Obama speaking, he plays that, then gives his commentary. But at least I don't have to endure the mindless rant for a whole hour, I can get the highs and lows and pretty much know what was said. Which, by the way, was pretty much NOTHING as usual. He tossed out a few goodies to the voters, and made a bunch of promises he doesn't intend to keep, along with a few deceptive lies he will take credit for later on down the road.

Do yourself a favor and go drink some antifreeze... it will save you the humiliation and pain of having your ass handed to you in November, because that is what is headed your way, and I think you all know it!

Obama's speech made it clear. And if discretionary spending is "frozen" it will still be there. Right in with the rest.

See bunky, a policy proposal has different reasons, applications and ramifications depending upon when it's given, why, what's it applied to, what's the circumstances surrounding it. Dixie's ranting spans what, 20 years for a comparison, yet we DON'T have details, do we. So YOU are just braying like a jackass as usual.

I said I didn't watch the State of the Union address, and I didn't. There is no contradiction! I did listen to Obama while Limbaugh constantly interrupted with his bilge, but the bilge actually made it more easy to listen to. I can't handle Obama straight up, I guess I need a little bilge to wash it down.
