Obama setting another new record...........

Bravo's 'hypocrisy' threads are great.

I still get a kick out of the one where he said Dems were hypocrites re: equal pay for women because Mika doesn't get paid as much as Joe Scarborough...on a show called "MORNING JOE."

Well, not to mention, Scarborough isn't a democrat so how does this make Democrats hypocrites???

Obama Signs Bill Giving Him Armed Protection For Life

While simultaneously launching effort to disarm the American people

<snicker>

The legislation, crafted by Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, rolls back a mid-1990s law that imposed a 10-year limit on Secret Service protection for former presidents. Bush would have been the first former commander in chief affected...

...The bill had sailed through Congress with bipartisan support—it cleared the House of Representatives by voice vote in early December, and then it zipped through the Senate unopposed. The law also provides protection for former presidents’ kids until age 16. But “protection of a spouse shall terminate in the event of remarriage.”

...The Secret Service started protecting presidents
in 1901 after the assassination of William McKinley. In 1965, Congress passed a law authorizing the agency, which is now a part of the Department of Homeland Security, to protect former presidents for life.

Well, in the OP you appear to be complaining about Obama signing a bill that does something that you support. So . . .

Well, then try reading exactly what I say....rather than you think I APPEAR to say......

Lets try this.....I say its hypocrisy to want armed men around for protection for the rest of your life while looking for ways to disregard, override or
ignore the constitutional rights of ordinary citizens under the 2nd Amendment.

I only wish I could dumb down the posts enough so that you can understand what they say....I just can't find simpler words....

You seem to read what you imagine is there rather than what is actually there.....a diner menu must drive you absolutely nuts.

I can bump that one for you if you'd like - it would be embarassing, though. It's exactly as I stated it.

And as for your other response - you're clearly the one lying here. There is no effort being launched to "disarm" the people.

I didn't mention 'Democrats' in the op did I...??

Is this your lame attempt to change the subject of the thread ?

You're entitled to your opinion....and I mine....

Any attempt to infringe on the our rights under the 2nd amendment is an attempt to disarm the people.....to one degree or another...

Bidens quote couldn't be any plainer....and calling me a liar is the same as calling him a liar.

I think you need to bone up on the definition of "disarm." There are a lot of free online dictionaries.
