Yes....that seems to be a universal belief of the left and Democrats....they will do anything, if we let them get away with it.....
Nixon tried.

What so you can get into a rant about the right to arm bears!!
No so I can tell you it would have no affect on gun violence CRIMINALS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE LAWS, CHECK CHICAGO!
And I don't believe proof of citizenship and ID cards to vote violate the Constitution....
I believe that the inconvenience of providing this is worth the benefit it provides. The integrity of elections must be absolute...
The only problem with logic is that no laws stop criminals, so should we be a society that is lawless?
No but restricting my constitutional rights is wrong they have no right to know if i own a gun, it's non of their frigging business, maybe if they didn't make it harder to put people away, we wouldn't have the crazies shooting people
I suppose there is a chance he could just be passionate about the issue. Because, you know, people do get upset when they lose something regarding an issue about which they are passionate.
We base our judgment on his past actions. He isn't more passionate about this issue now than he was before the election, he simply believes he can use a crisis to pass something he otherwise couldn't and doesn't want to miss the chance to avoid letting a "good crisis go to waste".
He is, and has always shown to be, a calculating and competent politician ready to spring into action when a crisis may allow him to pass otherwise horribly unpopular legislation.
He knows he has a small window, he sees it closing and is pissed that it was helped by some of those he expected to do what he willed.
Thanks for "Obamasplaining" that to me.
I can base my judgment of your judgment on your own past posts regarding Obama. So forgive me if I take your POV with a grain of salt.

it is the job of EVERY branch of government to understand and uphold the constitution, which is why they take an oath to do so. your statement is pure horseshit.
it holds just as much logic as predicting the number of lives saved by gun control
horribly unpopular legislation.
Also, he has an inflated and fragile ego. So when he doesn't get what he wants he tends to take it personally.

I am not at all sure why anyone would want it to be easier for convicted criminals and nutjobs to be able to buy guns from gun shows or over the internet than from gun dealers.
You have been listening to too much Joey Scarborough. Think for yourself
