The Cover-Up Begins: Establishment Media Is Going to Fight Tooth and Nail to Bury Obamagate​

On Thursday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” Breitbart White House Correspondent Nick Gilbertson talked about media reaction to the newest documents on Russia and the Obama administration.

Gilbertson said that “the establishment media, I got the sense yesterday, they’re going to fight tooth and nail to just make this go away. There were murmurings in the briefing room as Gabbard was laying some of this out. I heard somebody murmur liar in the back of the room, there was some grandstanding from some veteran establishment journalists that were in the back of the room, too.”

"The sloppiness of what Gabbard is presenting only confirms what has been widely suspected about her actions: that it’s a weapon of distraction. And it doesn’t seem like a coincidence that she claims to have uncovered evidence of a shadowy “conspiracy” at the exact moment that Trump is being accused by both Democrats and Republicans of covering one up. It all looks like an attempt to find some red meat for the base. Fox News appears to be taking the bait, pushing the unsubstantiated Obama conspiracy theory on its shows at a far greater rate than the Epstein story. The appetite of Trump’s base, however, is less predictable on this story.

At the same time, Gabbard’s new anti-Obama offensive also functions as an opportunity for her to move to the center of things in the White House, particularly after she clashed with Trump over Iran. As my colleague Steve Benen noted, “If the DNI were looking for a way to return to the president’s good graces, she apparently found one.”

What better way to excite her boss than with a brand-new conspiracy theory?"

'Blindsided and annoyed': Pam Bondi insiders tell of fury at Tulsi Gabbard

Attorney General Pam Bondi found herself scrambling to contain the political fallout after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard hijacked her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein crisis and launched an uncoordinated attack on Barack Obama, according to several sources close to the AG.

Gabbard, reportedly desperate to repair her standing with Trump after being "excoriated" and excluded from recent meetings, suddenly demanded Bondi investigate what she called a "treasonous conspiracy" by Obama officials regarding the 2016 Russia investigation.

The move caught Bondi completely off-guard, the sources told The New York Times. Fresh off a nasty fight with top FBI officials over the mess regarding her announcement that an Epstein client list didn’t exist, the attorney general was given "little warning" that Gabbard was about to dump the Obama investigation in her lap, sources said.

Sources inside her camp told the Times she "felt blindsided and annoyed."

Gabbard made the announcement earlier this week, then went into detail during a surprise appearance at a White House press conference on Wednesday.

"She's, like, hotter than everybody. She's the hottest one in the room right now," Trump declared at a White House event Tuesday, signaling Gabbard was back in his good graces after her diversionary attack relieved pressure from the "never-ending Epstein file crisis."

Bondi is annoyed and blindsided because there's nothing there. Gabbard hyperextend her shoulder reaching, only to find out it wasn't there and now she's put Katel and Bondi in impossible situations because there is nothing to prosecute.

This has been the M.O. of the Trump administration. There's all this hype built up and then it fizzles out.

JFK files - nothing
MLKj files - nothing
Bondi handing out Epstein folders to influencers - nothing
Epstein files 2 - apparently nothing
Obama/Russia - will absolutely end up being nothing.

There's two ways to look at this and how an individual looks at it will be determined by how much of a conspiracy theorist they are:

1. (Conspiracy theorist view) Trump & Co are a) now part of the deep state or are b) being held hostage by the deep state, so much so that even they can't let the truth out
2. (Reasonable view) There's just nothing there.

What happens when you have this hyperbolic, demonized view of the government and/or the cabal of powerful, child-blood drinking elites and the people you or God put into power, to save the world, find nothing?

This is what happens. Your left to "Tulsi-Gabbard" benign shit to create the illusion that you're finding the deep-state stuff and appease your base.

Obama Gate is nothing but Crazy Trump and his cronies generating a lot of noise in an attempt to deflect attention away from Crazy Trump's Epstein problem.
