It’s a cynical, brilliant and vicious strategy. Make Romney defend, so he can’t attack the real Obama scandal.

My bet is that Obama will never unseal his records because they contain information that could destroy his chances for re-election. Once this challenge is made public, my prediction is you’ll never hear about Mitt’s tax returns ever again.

Why are the college records, of a 51-year-old President of the United States, so important to keep secret? I think I know the answer.

If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political Science majors. But not Obama (or as he was known then- Barry Soetoro). I never met him. Never saw him. Never even heard of him. And none of the classmates that I knew at Columbia has ever met him, saw him, or heard of him.

As long as he doesn't release them, it looks like he's hiding his own involvement in the death of the border agent.
Why won't Obama just admit that he's responsible for the agent's death?

There is nothing to hide. Issa knows it, and Obama knows it. So they'll continue to play the game, until the taxpayers tell Issa to knock it off.

i don't expect this thread will change anyone's views. no one will admit to their double standard partisan hackery. i merely posted it to amuse myself.

perhaps there will be one person who will see the stupidity of the dems on romney's tax returns as compared to their utter hypocrisy on obama college grades. at least here, the source isn't anonymous, but you can bet your bottom dollar that libs who are demanding romney release his returns or else that means he is hiding something, will state the exact opposite here, despite a named source.

you have to admit, that is slightly amusing.

i have no problem people stating opinions. it's when they speak in the definitive without anything to back their assertions up.

I mean, it's not that hard. If this is a big problem like some of you are saying it is, there should be some data to back that up. I am not saying you are wrong, but I am asking what you are basing this off of. Just because what he is doing bothers you, doesn't mean it bothers the electorate at large or will have any substantial effect.

but to your credit you do just say it's an opinion none-the-less, unlike some others that treat it as if it were scientific fact.

This is a discussion board, which will undoubtedly contain facts and opinions, some of which are based on facts, some based on speculation, etc.

The day there's a hard and fast rule here that all opinions must be qualified each and every time they're expressed with the facts used to support said opinions is the day this place will become a morgue. Such rigidity thwarts fluid conversing. For the most part, people here do back up their assertions and/or opinions with sources of stuff they've read. Their credibility is rated by others according to what's verifiable and the quality of those sources. That's as good as you're going to get if you continue to expect vibrant discussion here.

The one fact the right isn't getting is that it's not Obama who wants Romney to release his tax returns. He doesn't give a shit.

It's the American people who are demanding it.
