The difference is that none of these ladies was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, but I do not venerate Mary. She is just a human like me. As to Quayle's comments, other than the first two sentences, which gets on to both unwed mothers and dead beat dads equally, the most of what he said was spot on about examples and, in most cases the best, most responsible way to raise children.

I really think he was unfairly run out of the political conversation and the media and Hollywood were willing accomplices. It was at that point I started taking a look at both sides with more discernment.
 
so are we to determine from this that Strom is actually way smarter than Obama and that Obama honestly doesn't know how to spell the word respect and just thinks there is no vowel in between 'r' and 's'? Or is this just the most moronic post of the day?

Not really....sometimes the media HAS TO do the gaffes....they are just so 'out there'.....a little dig here and there, you know....
but criticize him?.....That ain't gonna happen but in very special circumstances....
Now thats not say the media won't report on the fact that someone else is criticizing him, but few will do it themselves, as in an editorial......

Picking him for a minor spelling mistake isn't criticism. How about SUBSTANSIVE criticism, like about the NDAA, the NSA, his foreign policy, drones, modifying laws without consent of Congress, Etc. There are a whole fuck ton of things to be Critical of Obama for, this isn't one of them and anyone doing so is distracted and not worthy of voting.

The least educated poster on this forum that has never won a single debate about ANYTHING just stood up and realized that bias media is painting a picture they don't want to sell.

The real topic here is EDUCATION. I saw this week that most Right Wing media spokespersons were college drop-outs. And Most Left were educated in the highest of colleges.

I'm non-bias, but this is CERTAINLY an issue. If you want to tell me I can't have an opinion unless I work harder while stating the opinion of a college drop-out, the problem isnt' me, it's the parrot that repeats what the parrot is told to repeat.

Spot on; but you have to realize this is the dishonest leftist tactic they are forced o use to defend a failed ideological agenda. There are not very many honest Democrats like you left out there.
