He may want the USA to do the dirty work of cleaning up Gaza, he may love the idea of the United Stayes removing the Palestinians. But he certainly doesn’t like the idea of the USA owning Gaza and occupying it indefinitely!
I can state this with absolute certainty. It would cause the a lot of problems with the Arab neighbors.

Agreed. Especially Saudi Arabia since they are our best doorstop to Iran. Having the US occupy Gaza with a forced deportation of all Palestinians is not conducive to good relations with Arab nations.

Note that none of the Arab nations want to take 2M Palestinians. They know the Gazans are a Death Cult and don't want these nutjobs inside their own countries stirring shit up. That point aside, they also understand their own populations favor Arab unity and dislike having Western nations occupying Arab nations. Help? Yes. Supply? Okay. Invade and occupy? NFW.
