Having hit a wall in Michigan, Mr. Trump had no success with attempts at back-room maneuvering in other states.

But Mr. Trump’s failure, they said in interviews, only offered them limited solace.

“We may have walked back from the brink of a dangerous moment in this country, but this cannot be the norm,” said Rahna Epting, executive director of MoveOn. “It’s not sustainable for democracy.”

Have read the book, short, easy read, actually pretty dry, and it has absolutely nothing to do with what you posted, apples and oranges

Democrats and other progressives put some real work into gaming out a strategy against trump. trump put together random losers who claimed they had military training online. In short, trump did not know what hit him. Everyone else was playing chess, and he was not even playing tic-tac-toe. Democrats already had a plan for trump, even before trump knew what he was going to do.

Organizing a video conference of 900 people in a few hours is simple amazing. I don't think anyone has ever shown that level of organization before. Democrats are weaving grassroots organizations into large webs at amazing speeds.

This does not bode well for Republicans going forward. They have always had an organization problem, and with Democrats organizing so well...

It is good to see progressives trying to keep it all peaceful. And interesting to see how well organized they are about it. trump's violence seemed so disorganized. his worshippers could have gotten more out of their violence had they had a plan. Or better yet, they could have planned to avoid violence.

Apparently not, although it'd be understandable for some one stupid as you are to miss the inferences.

The simplest explanations are often the right ones....the simplest here is that the Revolution knew what was going to happen Jan 6 because they designed it.
