I'm off to Cuba w some friends, I almost hate to be away from media for this weekends installment of The Crazy American President... anyway with Fidel being gone I suspect they might ask me to stay and be dictator, so if you don't hear from me, you will know where I am!

You mean Jarod, someone that has no problem with people paying taxes, would avoid taxes. That sounds like John Kerry parking his yacht in Rhode Island to avoid taxes in Massachusetts. Just another example of what's good for the rest of us isn't good enough for those that want to force it on the rest of us.

If you looked into it you would see that Italy is not a tax haven for Americans, in fact if you earn money while living in Italy you pay more in taxes than if you did in the United States.
 
I'm only staying in Havana if they ask me to be a dictator for life, and it comes with all the perks Castro enjoyed.

Why do you have to be away? Surely Fidel's commie paradise has state of the art fiber with blazing speeds. I hope you have a heart attack while you are there so you can take advantage of their free world class healthcare. It would be a crime if you didn't.

Have fun. Whatever you do, do not get arrested. Ah...they do not not use guns down there, just knives and machetes. Pretty rare occurrence but something to be aware of. Stop by the Cafe Arcangel. Worth it. Have fun!
