Off Topic Questions about Damocles

Way too funny! Talk about "tone deaf". Talk about "shooting blind". I wonder if @LurchAddams was "gaslighting" me.
I have never gaslit anyone. I would never see two innocent people gunned down in the street by masked thugs and then try to tell people that the victims were the aggressors. That's some SERIOUS attempts to gaslight, my friend!

The irony is way too funny.

Why would Republican asses be handed to me?

You aren't going to define what that means, are you? When everything remains the same, you'll still claim that Republicans had their asses handed to them me just like you ambiguously predicted. You should have added "and it will occur near a body of water.".

Too funny.

Wow, you did sleep through high school.
LOL - good morning!

I have never gaslit anyone.
... at least not to your knowledge, since you don't know what "gaslighting" means.

I would never see two innocent people gunned down in the street by masked thugs and then try to tell people that the victims were the aggressors.
... but you would see a law enforcement officer run down by a psychotic leftist thug and then try to tell people that the victim was the aggressor.

... but you would see an armed, beligerent leftist thug reach for his weapon while violently resisting arrest and then try to tell people that the victims were the aggressors.

In your eyes, if someone agrees with you politically then he is an angel who can do no wrong, and those who disagree with you politically are all Nazi Brownshirt thugs who deserve immediate death penalties.

That's Those are some SERIOUS attempts to gaslight, my friend!

Yep. Quotas. In my biz we call them, "targets".

Cheers!
As far as I can tell, you don't have a biz.

'Quota' first appeared in the English lexicon around the 1600's, stemming from the Latin word 'quota'. It means 'assigned proportion'. Used with armies to assign resources to each soldier or unit, but can be used to refer to any such assignment.

'Target' first appeared in the English lexicon around the 1200's. stemming from 'targe' (Old English) or 'light shield'. It refers to a round object to shoot arrows at. It's meaning over the years has been to refer to that which an observation is aimed, like an arrow aimed at a target.

Marketing is full of buzzwords. A common one is using 'target' as 'quota', as if they were synonyms. The meaning is close, but not the same.

Well, that's marketing for you!
