She has the power of controlling the impeachment which includes delivering the articles to the Senate. It is her decision when to do that. She is making a public issue out of this so that people will contact their Senators and demand a fair trial.

Pelosi is starting to hear noise from her own members—her own natives are getting restless. Because she’s Pelosi, she can keep her members in line to some degree but that won’t work with the general public. The longer it drags on the greater the risk people are going to lose interest in it.

The attention span of the non-engaged general public is notoriously short. The only segment that’s gung-ho about it are on the left. Too many people don’t wake up in the morning with Trump’s impeachment in their heads. Too many of them are wondering why Democrats don’t poop or get off the pot, already. Many of them are starting to get the idea House Democrats care only about impeaching the President—and not much else. Because that’s all Democrats seem to talk about.

Meanwhile, the President, is taking out terrorists, kicking Iran in the nuts and reigning over a strong economy.

That’s starting to make Nancy and her articles seem kind of irrelevant. Democrats should be wary of that perception but they never listen to me.

What I see in this response is sidestepping addressing why Trump does not take the oath, take the stand and explain himself. With the majority of the nation favoring his removal it would be highly prudent if he could simple straight talk us and settle this issue. And if he cannot then he deserves to be removed.

Tell her to submit the articles and choose impeachment managers and allow the Senate to vote on the rest of your concerns.

For one thing, the election wouldn’t be ‘rigged’ even if Trump forced Zelensky into opening a fake investigation on the Biden. Rigging an election is messing with vote counts and the like. If Zelensky opened an investigation on the Bidens it would only mean Biden would be handicapped with fake baggage.

McConnell and Graham should recuse.

Trump and key witnesses should be sworn in and take the stand.

A fair process means holding any decisions until hearing all the evidence.
