AFAIC, the GOP died w/ George H.W. Bush, the original woke republican and unapologetic globalist. It has been long overdue for an overhaul. Not saying Trump was the final answer but he was the needed bomb to blow up the republican party IMO. After the Cold War ended they seemed lost in the wilderness. They're still finding their way w/ some of the old guard still in place but it's getting clearer.
Dims seem to be on the decline. Defund the police, wokeness, open borders, extreme income disparity between limousine liberals and the poor isn't flying.
