Trump showed his support for oil companies by ending breaks for EVs, green energy, and slashing environmental regulations. Trump has made us a dumber and more corrupt country. He is also making it more polluted and dirty.

And to make it all even more unreal, he was elected by ignorant, low-trash rednecks, most of whom barely have two nickels to rub together much less stock ownership in the companies who are robbing them blind along with the rest of us.

Yet they sneer at us and laugh as if they're so much smarter.

One of the hallmarks of the truly stupid... being too stupid to see how stupid they are.

The stupid MAGA redneck is going to be the downfall of America.

Why cannot you Americans do what your forefathers did in 1776?

How many US politicians does one believe have stock in these oil companies? While we're all out here trying to survive MAGA motherfuckers and thier love of Trump and his regime, these bitches are all just sitting back, watching thier brain dead supporters defend their greed and fuck you's to all of us.

And yet, you never bitch about the obscene profits Visa and the like make in credit card fees... Or what Alphabet (Google), Microsoft, and Apple rake in... Google has a 43.4% profit margin, the highest of any company.

What country did the President choose to use our military against, which in turn resulted in the aforementioned level of windfall profit increase, but did it for Visa, Google, Microsoft and Apple etc, instead of the oil companies?

Do you jump to the defense of oil companies like that because you love oil or just to defend the actions of your dear orange cult leader?

There is no one, single America anymore.

We have become so divided, you cannot talk about it as one people.

So the question becomes, which Americans are you referring to?

There never has been one single America. You even counted your African slaves as less than a complete man.

I am referring to your nationality as a whole.

At least your ancestors had the courage to free themselves from tyranny.

What is your Second Amendment for if not a means of ridding yourselves of oppressive government?

Yet you do nothing.

You are cowards.

Ahh the old standby oil profits post by uneducated leftists trying to fire up the masses

What are their profit margins? That is what really counts. Not raw numbers.

If you don't understand the difference maybe you shouldn't be starting these types of threads

Laughable.

Giant fossil fuel companies made about $12,000 in the time it took you to read this headline

Six of the world’s biggest fossil fuel companies are on track to make almost $3,000 in profits every single second this year, according to a new report, as households across the world grapple with soaring energy prices and inflation, which are driving a cost-of-living crisis.

Chevron, Shell, BP, ConocoPhillips, Exxon and TotalEnergies will make $2,967 a second in profits in 2026, an analysis from the non-profit Oxfam International has found. It marks an increase of nearly $37 million a day compared to their 2025 profits.

The total projected fossil fuel profits for 2026 for all six companies stand at approximately $94 billion, the analysis found.

Oil and gas companies’ profits are soaring as the Iran conflict continues.

None. Those corporations did that on their own and all you do is bitch about how much money oil companies make when it pales by comparison.

Do you jump to the defense of banks, credit card companies, and tech firms because they're fine making obscene profits and only oil companies should suffer your wrath?

What, are you pissed off that Iran isn't getting a cut of that?

Why would I be? We are "getting a cut".

Iran has earned hundreds of millions of dollars of extra income from oil sales since the start of the Middle East war, Bloomberg reported Thursday, helped by surging crude oil prices after it became the only major exporter able to use the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran has earned ~$139M/day from sales of its main Iranian Light crude blend so far in March, up from $115M/day in February, according to the report.

While other countries in the region have been forced to sharply cut production, or in some cases seek alternative export routes, Iran has continued to load tankers and sail them out of the Persian Gulf.

Iran's energy exports are estimated to have remained close to pre-war levels of ~1.6M bbl/day this month, in contrast to the ineffective blockade imposed on shipments from other Gulf producers.

The country's oil also has become more valuable compared with the Brent global benchmark, narrowing to a $2.10/bbl discount at the start of this week, the smallest in nearly a year, compared to more than $10/bbl before the war.
