The problem with all of this is that trump doesn't care. He's not going to have another election to worry about. Red states are actively working toward voter suppression so that Congress will stay in Republican control.

trump only cares about having enough time to fully monetize his position.

I'm in Canada right now, they still have American wines. The Ontario Government controlled liquor stores merely removed them from their shelves but its here if you want them to get it from the back room. ;)

YEP Fords profits went DOWN because the parts they need to buy to build their autos have had tariffs put on them causing them to have to increase their prices ( IF you would read the news ONCE in awhile you would know auto prices have gone up in the area of $5000 .)
And that has caused sales to go down making profits go down.
Not only will their workers profit sharing checks going to be over $4000 LESS then last year but a LOT of their workers are being laid off.
