No one seems to want to take them to task for poor governance either. They’d rather demonize teachers. We all saw what happened at the school board meeting where a teacher In Mississippi spoke out against the extravagant pay raise an administrator had just received and when she complained about its implicit unfairness given the low pay for teachers in the community she was violently assaulted and frog marched out of the building like a felon.

And you have pure ignorance. Most teachers work a second job during that 'vacation', or spend it preparing for the next school year. As for when they show up at school, there are also papers and tests to grade and lesson plans to prepare, most of which is not done during school hours. Teaching is not a 9-5 job.

It's sad, because she would have been a really good teacher and I'm sure he'll be just as good a Nurse.

May suggestion to all Teachers across America, STOP Supporting your Students out of your own Pay. The Republicans started budgeting for this decades ago with State and Local Government started counting on them to Subsidize Schools and now the Chickens have come home to Roost.

Fuck that ... I know it's hard for dedicated Teacher to do, but they need to STOP.

We used to shop the clearance sales after school started so we could pick up school supplies for my wife to give to her students that couldn't afford them.

There's no "demon". They've seen it and posted it several different places. Even mentioned that my parents were on the list. How creepy is that?

And the Back to School sales...There would be a limit on notebooks, etc. for 10 cents....you could only buy 10. A little begging was all that was necessary to get them to sell a case at that price. We still do backpacks full of supplies every year for students....
We had/have clothes and food pantries...even do events for prom gowns for the girls who can't afford them.
My fellow coach and I outfitted our entire swim team with donated suits and equipment.
People who question what we do and what we make should spend a day or two in an actual classroom...

Heheheheh. No problem. She told me a couple days ago that several Illinois public school districts are considering a walk out, after seeing teachers in other states doing so. They used to live in Alton, although she didn't teach there. Alton SD hasn't had a raise in seven years. That tells you how dedicated teachers (mostly) are, to continue working in a profession where your wages are stagnant.

I never said it was a 9-5 job. I said it was a job that averages $43K and comes with 17 weeks vacation.

One minor problem Her name is listed as a special ED teacher. But you already know that as you and your minions posted it and then had to retract your lies. Nothing new Bowel is in her natural state already.
