Democrats are everything they claim others to be. Biden’s problem is as much about pathological lying as it is about dementia.

Miranda Devine: Old Joe Biden haunts demented Dems as they desperately try to flip the script to claim Trump is ‘losing his mind’

Having ignored Joe Biden’s cognitive meltdown the last four years, Democrats and their media handmaidens are claiming that Donald Trump is “senile, nuts, or something worse,” as the Daily Beast put it.

“Is Trump losing his mind à la Biden,” asked the Hill last week, describing the president as lost in “a whirlwind of apparent senility.”

New Republic earlier this month reported unspecified “concerns over Trump’s cognitive decline since he first started to deliver weaving, nonsensical stump speeches on the presidential campaign trail.”

When a barely lucid Biden stumbled around on stage and wandered off mid-sentence, they called it a “childhood stutter” and accused this newspaper of peddling “cheap fakes” and misinformation.

Two weeks before his disastrous debate, the Washington Post fact-checker awarded “Four Pinocchios” to videos of a disoriented Biden meandering around the G7 that it said were “especially pernicious [and] intended to create a false narrative [that Biden] is too old for the job.”

But now these same fakers pore over videos of Trump to find something, anything, to flip the script and pretend that the energetic, industrious president currently in the White House is the senile old man Biden seemed to be.

Dementia games

After Biden’s cognitive collapse became undeniable during last year’s debate, partisan psychiatric experts Cornell senior lecturer Harry Siegel and his “Shrinking Trump” podcast co-host John Gartner defended the performance as simply a stutter and poor preparation, nothing to do with an addled mind.

Now they claim “there is absolutely no doubt” that Trump has dementia, “as indicated by his strange gait, phonemic paraphasia — when he begins a word and can’t finish it — and decline in the complexity of his words and concepts.”

This is Soviet-style mendacity, narrative gaslighting calculated to fool the public.

But as long as Joe Biden keeps popping up in public, their ruse will fail because Americans can see for themselves which president has lost his grip on reality.

“I’m trying to figure out what’s the most significant and consequential role I can play, consistent with what I’ve done in the past,” Biden told the ladies of “The View.

Democrats must be thrilled that he wants to make himself useful.

He’s also writing a book and trying to get people to pay him $200,000 to give speeches.

Good luck! Word is that he needs to get back to work because Biden Inc. is broke.

“All those Biden grandkids had a lavish lifestyle which they very much liked,” said veteran Beltway journalist Mark Halperin on his “2Way” podcast.

“Hunter made … millions of dollars [but] Joe as a former president is not in a position to get the same kind of paid speeches, corporate boards, book deals,” he said, adding, “The trough is empty, the spigot has shut down … they need a way to get back in the game, to make big money, to have the grandchildren fed and clothed and flown first class.”

A sign that Halperin is right is that former first son Hunter cried poor in court last month and has had to dispense with his pricey lawyer Abbe Lowell, who has pulled out of his remaining lawsuits. Hunter now relies on the services of South Carolina legal titan Dick Harpootlian, one of his dad’s old pals who owes the Bidens a favor or two.

‘They are wrong’

So it’s up to Joe to shake the can, one way or another.

He will keep doing interviews, reminding everyone why they voted for Donald Trump, until someone gives him a lot of money to go away.

What we saw in his two media outings last week on the BBC and “The View” is that Biden’s problem is as much about pathological lying as it is about dementia.

Perhaps when you have spent a lifetime distorting the truth, self-aggrandizing and telling whoppers, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep track of all the lies and discern reality.

On “The View,” he denied reports in a flurry of tell-all books that he was in cognitive decline in his final year in office.

“They are wrong,” he said. “There is nothing to sustain that.”

Then Biden started waffling incoherently before Dr. Jill leaped in to save him with a few lies of her own.

“The people who wrote those books were not in the White House with us, and they didn’t see how hard Joe worked every single day. I mean, he’d get up, he put in a full day, and then at night [he beavered away],” she said.

She doesn’t seem to realize that we noticed the early lids, the long weekends and the lack of any discernible activity from Biden, not to mention his verbal porridge, meandering and stiff gait.

The debate was not an aberration but a culmination of his presidential performance. After 60 minutes of live TV, it just became impossible to hide the truth from the American public.

Maybe he could get a gig being a "professor of law" at a university...

Opinion piece again. :palm:

Deflection again. :palm:

NY Post again. :palm:

Trump is the President now, fucktard.

Remember: when GOOD things happen it is due to Trump. When BAD things happen it is due to Biden.

Trump basically said that in his Meet the Press interview. So it is really pretty simple.

The hard part will be blaming Biden for things in a few years but if Trump's followers believe gasoline is $1.98/gal then they'll believe anything.
