Omg, how refreshing is this?

Surely there will soon be federal troops in FL to tamp down this Rebel Action...because this most certainly can not stand.

Ron "Rodent" DeathSantis is nothing more than a spineless Trump lackey who kisses Trumptard ass to increase his political popularity.

The rabid, shit-bag right has gone completely off the deep end.

DeSantis sure does seem light in the loafers. Not that there is anything wrong with that- most Trump voters who self identify as males are.

Yes, brilliant idea. Because we know kids can't spread the vi..... oh, wait a minute, yes they can. But then if you are asymptomatic you can't spre..... oh, wait, yes you can. DeSantis is responsible for THOUSANDS of deaths. He is no better than any serial killer.

Rhonda Santis is almost as stupid as the people who support him.

In a civilized nation, he'd have been humanely euthanized.
It's still not too late.

I wish Biden had bigger balls.

Hello Darth,

About as refreshing as the black death.

DeSantis should be held criminally liable for what he's done. He knowingly has killed thousands and attempted to hide it.

I was in Las Vegas last week. You could not walk into a casino or get off an elevator without being handed a mask. EVERY COUNTY IN FLORIDA HAS A HIGHER CASE RATE THAN CLARK COUNTY, NV. Cheering for DeSantis is disgusting and ignorant. He is beneath contempt.

I will never understand celebrating death nor the wanton spread of the killer virus.

It is imperative that all must be done to limit the spread.

I suppose there is this downer attitude that corona can never be conquered, that we will never get our pre-pandemic lives back. It is precisely this attitude which is preventing us from getting control of the pandemic.

It is folly to believe it should simply be allowed to run it's course unabated. Our hospitals simply cannot manage that kind of load, and are so easily overwhelmed with only a very small percentage of the population requiring intensive care. We are still nowhere even close to herd immunity.

Therefore, we must continue doing all we can to limit the spread.

This view is shared by nearly all the world's leaders, top medical people, virologists, and the World Health Organization.

Hello Darth,

The Black Death was basically a death sentence. But it’s refreshing to see a politician with a backbone that will stand up and *finally* give some consideration to kids in this debacle.

There is such a thing is being irresponsibly nice to children. Sometimes they have to face unpleasant facts just as adults do.

Your arguments have a history of being proven wrong in time.

Once you posted in jest of the entire pandemic, citing that only 61 deaths have occurred. That now pales in comparison to the grim reality of over a half million dead Americans, currently 1 of every 476 Americans dead.

Then you thought children could not even get the disease. That was also disproven. We were greatly saddened to learn of the normally healthy little 4 year old girl Kali in Texas who died after her parents declined vaccination. (They changed their grief stricken minds after that.)

Once again, you've taken the incorrect position.

If you wish to have children's concern in mind, then the best course is to protect them from exposure to COVID-19 at all costs.

I wouldn't want to see you face a trifecta of colossally wrong positions by hearing of a Florida child dying after being exposed in school by another child sent to school following an exposure to COVID-19, with a subsequent tragic transmission of a juvenile death sentence.

I assure you, your concerns for children's educational needs are highly misplaced.
