Not nearly as stupid as a woman on American Idol one year-- she got upset that her daughter was rejected, and asked Ryan Seacrest about Simon, saying something along the lines of "This is American Idol, Simon. Is he French or something?"

Ryan informed her that he was English, to which she replied "Well, he can go back to English".

That ranks as pretty stupid in my book.

Yeah, you didn't buy that whole american idol schtick either, about being some poor hillybilly girl from the hills of North Carolina, either huh?

I tell you what: from the moment I saw her on american Idol, I knew that whole hillbilly girl from the boonies story was bogus. I'm pretty well traveled in those parts, and there ain't no hillbilly girls like that with perfect, straight white teeth, and perfect hair like she has.
