The Chinese have successfully developed a rocket launch that is basically the one used in James Bonds' "You Only Live Twice." It has a hatch on the front that opens and can basically gobble up a communication satellite in space and bring it back to Earth. They can now completely shut down our satellite communications any time they care to.

Russia is entirely dependent upon higher oil and nat gas prices. We are nearing a decade of $100 oil. Nat gas has plummeted due to the dramatic increase in world wide production. If we want to weaken Russia, reducing oil consumption should be a top priority.
