One in five Americans has no religion

You are still ignoring the Republican/Conservative idiosyncrasies. Those issues only matter to you guys when you are trying to apologize for the GOP's favorite forms of big government. I am sorry, but the many freedom of inquiry issues and FUNDAMENTAL rights brought up by Rana and Haiku resonate a bit more than do concerns over whether REPUBLICANS and Democrats deny me the right to choose a light bulb. It's fing stupid to even compare these things.

except the things I mentioned have actually happened......the things they mentioned are merely imagined....

You need to get you facts straight, pinhead.

The things you mentioned happened due largely to Republicans as I noted.

The things they mentioned have happened as well, oftentimes, due in part to Democrats. If it were not for the Constitutional protections many of those things would be law NOW and some of them are anyway.

You are such a slime ball.

Let's go over it AGAIN.... First you say...

Atheist DO believe in something.

Which I answered, of course, we do but that is not relevant to being atheist. Then you slip context and quite dishonestly change that to...

You are now trying to argue that Atheists DO believe in something greater than self.

NO! I did not argue anything of the kind. If you don't understand how those last three words change the meaning of the sentence then I suggest you go back to alcoholics anonymous, where you got it from, and ask them.

First of all, I don't know what your recent obsession is with AA, but I have never been, nor have I ever had a problem with drugs or alcohol, because I am a generally well-rounded person and have a good spiritual foundation. Booze and drugs are far more common for your type, who have no moral foundation and are devoid of spirituality.

I have stated that Atheists claim to NOT believe in God. I have stated that MANY Atheists, do indeed believe in God. Some of them are bigger believers in God than some Christians. I also correctly pointed out that 95% of us believe in something greater than self, and are not Nihilists. You want to "argue" that Atheists are believers in something, just not God. I submit that belief in something greater than self, is indeed a spiritual belief in a higher power, or "God" if you will. Now, you can dance around and play semantics games, but in essence, you have already admitted this.

So you have nothing to support your "fact?" Forgot where you read that, huh? And you think that this survey that you read long ago is some unchanging fact?

Pretty standard and consistent fact. Do a Wiki search of Nihilism, and see what it says... I am betting it says about 5% of the world population claim to be Nihilists. Unless that percentage (which hasn't changed in about 100,000 years) has changed in the past 3-4 months, it's still at around 5%.

Better part of a day, no. It only takes a few minutes to respond to your idiotic trolling.

No, you've spent the better part of a day, actually two days now, responding to someone you claim is boring you. Well done!

Or gods. That is the definition.

I have stated that MANY Atheists, do indeed believe in God.

That's nice. Its good to know you THINK you are a mind reader. Probably part of your "spirituality."

Some of them are bigger believers in God than some Christians. I also correctly pointed out that 95% of us believe in something greater than self, and are not Nihilists.

I pointed out that that is incorrect and that you are just making it up.

You want to "argue" that Atheists are believers in something, just not God. I submit that belief in something greater than self, is indeed a spiritual belief in a higher power, or "God" if you will.

There you go again. No one said anything about greater than self but you. No, that does not indicate a spiritual belief or belief in god(s).

It is something you borrowed from alcoholics anonymous which is quite common for your type of liar. What is your favorite type of spirit?

Now, you can dance around and play semantics games, but in essence, you have already admitted this.

Why don't you quit dancing and give us an actual source.

But from this vague citation you extrapolate the rest? Very sloppy.

No, you've spent the better part of a day, actually two days now, responding to someone you claim is boring you. Well done!

I have been doing several other things and have responded to several others on this thread. You are a minor nuisance. But apparently this is all YOU have time for.
