You know why. But good on you for asking the question in the hopes of getting others to engage their minds and look into the reasons why. Used to be a VERY effective strategy in times past,...now its 50/50 AT BEST due to the fact that people have become victims of their own sloth.

We have an FDA,
established by statute,
and it does what it does,
depending on the executive administration overseeing it.

We can always repeal the Harrison Act of 1914,
have no drug regulations,
and legalize the snake oil vendors again.

We can have no regulation at all, in other words,
or we can have regulation about which we're likely to argue.

Does anybody know of a realistic third choice?
