People complain about financial doomsday from there 2000sf house drive there 20K cars to there job in a 4% unemployment economy.

Politicians talk about raising taxes when they collect 2.6Trillion annually and consistently prove they will just squander anything new.

Cheap food makes you fat.

In some areas the only TV you can get is cable.

When they owe their asses on their house and car they do worry when banks start having Runs on them and Loan companies are going Under while our faithful leader lies at every turn and has handed the keys to the shop to the very Cos going bankrupt.

Only an Idiot would wage ware and cut taxes at the same time.
 
I would agree with them being middle class.
My imcome is middle class it's my assets that make me wealthy.

1) Bullshit. We have given you plenty of examples of cheap food that is also healthy. You just ignore it.

2) the point of the tv comment is that the poor have access to tv. Try asking the poor in Africa/India/China how tough the poor in America have it.

3) So somehow people being poor is Bush's fault. That is quite idiotic.

Good point Top. I actually don’t know anyone who is poor and fat. I do know a couple of skinny poor people though.

Yeah there is always someone more miserable than you are SF. Even if you are poor and in Somalia, starving, you could be in a 6 x 6 hole somewhere, having been captured by some war lord three years ago, and driven out of your mind by torture and isolation and starvation.

So does the starving guy in Somalia feel better when he’s told that? Or does he still think, man I got a shit deal????

There is a level of poor that guys like SF just can not understand. He has lived in such a manner that he can not ever understand the truely poor. This is why I think people should do more hands on helping than they do today. If you talk to real poor people you begin to see the walls of the trap they are in more clearly. The are not inescapable walls but they are much higer than most who have never seen it think. The old adage that it takes money to make money is still pretty true.

There is the aspect of not knowing what to do to get over the walls because the only people you know are trapped right with you. We really need to teach these kids how to get over the walls.This is why education just HAS to be a priority in our schools. You could treach these kids so much with a computor game like the sims where they learn HOW to get it right. Once they KNOW how to get out they will do so and become tax payers. I just can never understand why people dont realise Good schools is a finacial investment in future tax returns?
