It just seems amazing that Donald Trump is still a free man. Privilege.

The man has zero concept of what average American lives are like.

We somehow refer to the 1%, but that's WILDLY optimistic.

This world exists for one/one-thousandth of 1 %.

That's the number of people on the planet who truly live well, their rewards actually compensating their travails and more.

The rest of us, sadly, appear to be extras from central casting, the world treating us very much like a baby treats a diaper.

And I've led a privileged life compared to most people on the planet--it's still been a grind.

It could be a little better--I really believe that it could--but not with people like Pollyanna ready to forgive trumpanzees.

What have I got--maybe five years left at most? It's really not my problem.
I just would have liked to have seen the world improve a bit more in my lifetime, but it's obviously in full-scale regression now.

it makes me hard to see you demoralized.
:chuckle:

Legal experts were stunned on Tuesday when GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming once again dropped a bombshell on witness tampering during her closing statement as vice-chair of the House Select Committee Investigating the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol.

"After our last hearing, President Trump tried to call a witness in our investigation," she said.

"A witness you have not yet seen in these hearings," Cheney continued. "That person declined to answer or respond to President Trump's call and, instead, alerted their lawyer to the call. Their lawyer alerted us and this committee has supplied that information to the Department of Justice."

"Let me say one more time, we will take any effort to influence witness testimony very seriously," she added.
He said, “this has been an ongoing pattern, and we're trying to send the message that witness tampering is a crime in the United States of America."

Prof. Laurence Tribe of Harvard Law, who has argued three dozen cases before the Supreme Court, posted "WOW" on Twitter.

Witch Hunts have no witnesses. Only storytellers.

Playing devil's advocate... if the witness knew it was from trump, wouldn't a number have shown up that he recognized as trump's number? And couldn't the phone company records show that a call went from trump number to witness's number? I think that would count for something.

Not a witness nor a trial, dumbass. Cliche fallacy. Illliteracy: Trump is a proper noun. It is capitalized. The phone company does not have to release any records. See the 4th amendment.

Agreed. Same for pleading the Fifth Amendment.

Attempted force of negative proof fallacy.
Discard of the Constitution of the United States.
Void argument fallacy.

It's also according to all the sane, intelligent and educated people who know how both Congress and the DOJ work.

All Pedo Don cocksuckers, Qless and other idiots don't have a fucking clue about what is truth and what is fiction.

Attempted proof by credential. False authority fallacy.

Trump is guilty of murder but I doubt he'll ever face justice for his crimes. The pedophiles, terrorists and traitors who followed his orders and attacked the Capitol on 1/6 are the ones who will atone for Trump's crimes.

What crimes? What pedophiles, terrorists, or traitors? Void argument fallacy.
