Even before their inevitable wins in November Republicans are already shooting themselves in the foot.
Neither the red nor blue teams moderate once they get too much power which only gives their opponents amunition.
Hopefully the S.C. knocks this down with stare decisis. I think they will, it’s a no brainer. Kavanaugh said he’s a advocate of stare decisis. Roberts is fairly moderate too.
The Public is pretty much disgusted with the politicians continually dragging Abortion and LGBTQ issues to the forefront, as most of the women and younger adults are neuetral on both of the issues and don't want to see this stuff in the headlines anymore- and they are certainly frustrated with the divisions and chaos it's causing out in the real world.
It's mostly just the OLD FART POLITICALLY MOTIVATED MALES THAT ARE DOING MOST OF THE TALKING AND MAKING WAVES , and using these wedge issues for political posturing and it could, as you said, very well change some votes in the next election- and not in the direction the Republicans are expecting!
Most people are going to vote for the party that don't appear to be the troublemakers, rebel-rousers, scandalmongers, agitators, and antagonists!
It's mostly just the disgruntled old White-Farts like Donald Trump and his puppeteers that seem to be causing most of the trouble at the moment!
Donald Trump needs to just go away, retire, and spend the rest of his life catching up with his Grandchildren.
And the Republicans may want to find them a Good Man or Woman to lead their party away from all the unnecessary trouble-making, division, and chaos!
