I did see that and thought I'd add a little knowledge to this awesome thread.

This most recent phase of Israel begins with the Ottoman Empire losing WW1 and surrendering almost all their lands to the British and French. Military conquest of land was a long accepted practice. Which the 1928 Kellogg Brand pact made the first attempt to change.

The British took over the area called the Palestine Mandate. The British, in the Balfour Declaration of 1917 promised the Jews a small part of that as a future Jewish homeland. Jordan is Palestine.

Shut down electricity, water...and bomb them for a month non stop
 
This was a totally unprovoked massive terror attack with no declaration of war.

Israel has every right to level them for it.

I always truly believed that Israel wanted a deal, wanted peace, wanted a 2 nation solution.

I say that because Israel is a democracy and probably doesn't want to dramatically increase the number of Muslim voters.

Mentally, yes. Joke has long been stupid. He has a near 50 year track record of being on the wrong side of every US foreign policy decision. From what I've read, it was something like 8 hours + before he was even notified what had happened because aids saw no reason to wake him.

Israel, with the most sophisticated intelligence services in the world, and back door computer tech infiltrating everyone, doesn't get taken by surprise.
And on the 50th anniversary of the "surprise attack" by Egypt that kicked off the Yom Kippur war, too.

Add that to reports from Israelis that the army and police aren't coming to help them, and it stinks.

It's a catalyst for an attack on Iran, and all the worldwide carnage that will come with that.

Well now Western governments now not only fail to protect the citizens, they have sold us down the river to a suicide cult...so this is a fair point.
