O'reilly gets owned bad over lesbian HS students voted cutest couple

I find this part interesting and would have pursued it more.

O'REILLY: Look, I've been very consistent on this since my first book was written. I think private behavior belongs in private settings.

BERMAN: Right.

O'REILLY: I don't think it belongs in the high school yearbook.

BERMAN: But you'd be OK with the cutest couple, heterosexual couple, though.

O'REILLY: I would be, because that is the norm of society. See, it's the same gay marriage thing. You have a six percent option here. Homosexuals, according to research, are 6 percent of the population.

He says it's a private matter, like there is no place for government, but then the school display of it should only be allowed to reinforce the "norm." A free society is always in flux. It's not the government's job to maintain societal norms.

I don't agree with him that they shouldn't be allowed to be "cutest couple", but did the kids there vote them because they actually WERE the cutest couple or because they knew it would piss a lot of people off or flout (perceived) authority and have some fun with that.
Probably the latter.

O'Reilly and this doc are debating it seriously, while the kids who voted are at home laughing their ass off.

If that is the most these kids are going to do to piss of their parents, then they are some fortunate parents.

Personally I can't believe anyone watches him. If not for this site I would NEVER know what he said.
Pretty much the same for me. I don't watch or hear his radio program. Thankfully I get reports on what he says from all the lefties... Who seem to be the only people on this site who have ever watched or listened to the program. They are certainly the only ones who report on the show.
