Osama Bin Laden

I read where we kille 8 more bad guys in a missle attack today or yesterday one.
Probably at a cost of about 1 million per head once the costs of the missles, etc are figured in.
Seems like it would be cheaper to offer bounties on the bad guys.

Okay, hypothetical.

Obama, we know, has used some quiet diplomacy to pressure Pakastan to finally take action against the Swath Valley, move in the military, and take out what's left of AQ.

Now for the hypothetical. They find and capture or kill Osama. Who wants to predict Obama will get no credit from the Right for doing in his first 6-9 months what Bush couldn't do in 7.5 years. Anyone want to guess otherwise?

Stay tuned.

you're so lame....i'm sure if obama captures him (if he is alive) you will of course give all credit to obama and forget all the groundwork laid by bush....

stop being such a partisan hack

What "groundwork" did Bush lay for capturing Osama in Pakistan?

right...and when they agreed to give the taliban control of the Swat valley, that was an example of their forceful commitment to that war?

and when they complained about US missile strikes on Pakistani territory, that was a show of their solidarity with Bush in the WOT?:cof1:
The Pakis had very little control over their own country and had to pick their battles. Also, they knew that if Bush lost to a Democrat in 2004 they would be unable to count on the US for assistance after then. *shrug*

so they didn't really do much fighting in the WOT. thanks for admitting that.

If you insist that "Bush didn't get the job done and he dropped the ball and he didn't achieve the results" then you must be agreeing that he implemented those policies in the first place. But again, I don't expect any liberals to admit that. *shrug*
You didn't read the qualifier at the begining of my statement, did you?

LOL we don't agree on much, but that's spot on!
I'm often mistaken as a liberal because I despise the far right. I despise the far left too but outside of Ralph Nader and Dennis Kucinich, there are hardly any around, that is unless you're a wacko on the far right. Then, by there standards, anyone who doesn't have a autographed photo of Rush Limbaugh in their living room is a commie.

If he promised to get OBL he should. Did he promise that?
I could give a god damn less. He'd by god better have capturing or killing Bin Ladin high on his list of priorities and if he doesn't he deserves all the criticism that comes his way. It's put up or shut up time now. It's easy to criticise when your out of office. Now Dems are in power and, as they say in Missourri, SHOW ME!

You gotta be kidding me? The simple minded fuck had nearly 8 years to capture or kill Bin Ladin and he failed and failed miserably. I'd expect that with the resources of the USA at hand even a simpled minded moron like Dixie could have captured Bin Ladin by now.

Bin Laden is nothing more than the mindfuck that keeps Americans stupid.

Will he capture or kill Bin Laden?

Will Wile E Coyote capture the Road Runner makes for a more real conversation.

i don't know. but you honestly can't claim he didn't either. you know as well as i that it is probably top secret. pakistan is a violatile situation. i do know that, just as obama is doing, bush used drones to conduct strikes and according to the news our soldiers occasionally crossed into pakistan and it created a shit storm. at the time the libs criticized bush as a warmonger etc...but now obama does it....yay, good for him...

Oh, for goodness' sake. You proclaim "the groundwork Bush laid" with certainty, and then come back with "I don't know"?

Yikes....

And then cited examples and how Obama concurred with, and continues in many ways, Bush's actions concerning Pakistan. Shrugs likes to *shrug*, saying I don't know is probably part of Yurt's persona...

You know, like in a sarcastic way...

So, when did you get your hair cut?

"I don't know... duh. Probably yesterday when I said I was going out..."
