what i find ironic is that if an armed citizen steps in and saves a cop who's life is in peril, he's a hero. But any other situation makes said citizen an incompetent boob who is more likely to shoot everyone but the bad guy

i've seen dozens of stories where incompetent boobs have shot the wrong people, like sal culosi, or the therapist in florida laying on the ground with his hands up in the air, or andrew thomas in paradise california. we could also consider the 1 dozen police officers who shot two women delivering newspapers because they mistook their vehicle for that of christopher dornan. vicki weaver also comes to mind, but i wonder if the infant had also been shot, would the liberals side with government and blame her death on randy as well.
I think that citizens, meaning NOT government agents, take responsibility more serious and would endeavor to not shoot innocents with greater care than government ever would.
