i'm sorry informing you of the history of christmas makes your panties twist up. i'm sorry you think history is trolling.

you're obviously too weak to hear the truth about christmas you little shit. i've stated for years that christmas has its roots in paganism and was never an original christian holiday. you're just a dumb tool bravo.

I love the title of this, "Pagan roots" of christianity. You do know Pagan means something like "non-christian/non-jewish". So christianity has it's roots in non-christianity? wow, imagine that.

I assume your problem results from confusing the Christian understanding of Christmas and the secular commercialism that modern society associates with December 25th......

nope. did you read the OP? you should study up on the history of christmas. it did not start out as a christian holiday and had nothing to do with the birth of jesus.

As a practicing Christian this information doesn't offend me. This is a happy time if year which is probably why libtards are so miserable. They just can't stand seeing others having a good time

It's Christmas not Christian. The early Christian church incorporated many pagan rituals in an attempt to appeal to and escape persecution from followers of the "mystery religions." Social conservatives like to pretend that the church is a monolithic system of belief unchanged since the days of Christ, but the fact is it has always added, subtracted and altered itself to try to appeal to to the masses.

I am, in all honesty, absolutely amazed that this stuff has been labelled as 'Surprising'. Where the hell have you people been all your lives?
Does not your society teach you history?
Incredible.

She is angry all of the time. More so this year because she knows that people like me are surrounded by joy and happiness and it only serves to make her more jealous and hateful. Thank God she doesn't own guns.

More evidence that god has been created by the ignorant. This nasty piece of shit believes in god.

Christmas does, yes. It dates back to the festival of Sol Invictus. The gradual change to Christmas was to help the Roman Empire transition. To many at the time, the Christian god was a great addition to their already bursting at the seems pantheon of deities.

Yurts first factiod is incorrect, at least if you read the letters and documents of church fathers such as Tertullien and St. Augustine.
