I hope he enjoys his free plane ride back to Gaza. LOL

It appears a Green Card is not a suit of armor. I'm guessing Kristi "Dog Killa" Noem will deport his ass ASAP and let him fight the deportation from some shithole in Gaza.

Leader of student protests at Columbia facing deportation after arrest by immigration officials

A prominent Palestinian activist who helped lead protests at Columbia University is facing deportation following his arrest by federal immigration agents over the weekend.

Mahmoud Khalil, who graduated from the university in December, was arrested Saturday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed the arrest, saying it was a result of President Donald Trump’s executive orders prohibiting antisemitism. Khalil has not been formally charged with a crime.

His lawyer, Amy Greer, said the agents who took him into custody at his university-owned home near Columbia initially claimed to be acting on a State Department order to revoke his student visa. But when Greer informed them that Khalil was a permanent resident with a green card, they said they would revoke that documentation instead.

He broke no law. The court should be fun.
Trump not follow the law? Say it ain't so! LOL

Trump has had a hardon for Muslims for over 8 years now. Remember his failed Muslim ban? Add to this his latest proposal to bulldoze Gaza and build a resort for Christians and Jews, and it should not be surprising he's going after Muslims in the US.

I have no doubt they'll just put Mahmoud Khalil ass on a midnight government plane and ship his ass to Tel Aviv then bus him to Gaza where he can fight the deportation there.

Ms. @moon should be pleased that she and her terrorist friends are reaping what they have sown.

Thanks for the threat of terrorism, Ms. Moon. Truly. Not only does it put a DHS and CIA target on you but it proves you are too fucking stupid to remember what happened after that.

It also proves you are too fucking stupid to see that your Jihadist terrorist attack killing thousands of Americans is exactly what Trump would like since it'd give him a chance to nuke Tehran, and flatten both Gaza and the West Bank along with arrest every anti-American Palestinian in the United States.

Not enough information about his activities on and off campus to make a decision on that.

Looking into that cursorily, it appears that the protests on Columbia's campus were often mixed with violence and other unlawful acts, and that Khalil is a self-professed leader of those protests. That means he is complicit in the actions that occurred. So, while he likely won't be charged criminally, being only an accessory to those crimes, that's sufficient for the US to justify his deportation from the country under

8 U.S. Code § 1227

He'll almost certainly lose. All the US has to demonstrate is that he is an undesirable person to be permitted to remain in the US and he's deported. He'd have to prove he did NOTHING whatsoever that makes him suspect to the US government. I'd say that's damn near impossible.

That's easy to prove. He was exercising his First Amendment right on the Palestinians. Not Hamas.

Makes ZERO difference. He was by his own admission, involved with the protests and a central figure as a spokesperson and sometimes leadership figure. That's enough to get him deported if that's what the government wants.
No it's what Trump wants. He wants the protests about Palestinians be silenced.

He's a foreign citizen. His first amendment rights are restricted compared to those of citizens. Being a foreign national, under 8 U.S. Code § 1227
his simply being a participant in a violent, or what is deemed anti-American, protest--even if he did nothing himself--is sufficient justification for the US government to deport him as undesirable to remain in the US. The government can't do that to a citizen, but it damn sure can to a foreign national.

Trump can't do much about US citizens raising such a protest, but it can deport foreign nationals for participating in such protests, and that's what Trump is doing.

Focus McFly, focus! This is about foreign nationals participating in these protests. They have limited rights to remain in the US compared to citizens and Trump is exercising his legal option to deport such persons for participation.

We shall see in the court. This is a dangerous precedent.
