Is she really? I did not know that. Working in the environmental industry I was very impressed with the job she did at EPA as its administrator. She did a good job of balancing EPA's mission of protecting human health/safety and the environment against our economic needs. She's a very talented executive.

I don't know how to break it to you, but there is no way for the USA to become a theocracy. It would require completely dismantling the Constitution, and I don't think that will happen unless we are taken over by radical Islamics or something.

If Palin's planning to run for President in 2012, it would serve her better to continue as governor and work on bettering her knowledge of the world, since she's such a lightweight in every way.

CTW is an effective Administrator, works to cut taxes (did so as Governor), and isn't always spilling the party line. (Palin doesn't always spill the line either, it is one of the "no politics as usual" line that she gets accolades for among so many.) She walked away from the Bush Administration because they are not at all alike.

Palin is a political light weight. She's unquestionably unqualified to be President. There are a number of women in Republican politics who are vastly more qualified for the Presidency then Palin. Rice, Dole, Collins, Whitman, Hutchinson, Fiorina, Snowe.

I'm particularly fond of Christine Todd Whitman. She has a lot of potential to bring the Republican party back towards the mainstream and away from the far right. She had the courage and the character to resign her cabinet position from the inept and extreme Bush administration on principle. This gives her a lot of street cred with moderates, independents and former main street Republicans and blue dog Democrats. She has the brains, education and executive experience to distance the Republican party from it's extremist right wing which desperately needs to be done if the Republicans are to grow and become relevent again.

I can easily see myself supporting her. Before I read your list of names, hers came to mind immediately; I was pleased to see that she was there.

Damo is part of that "moderate" bunch who just don't get it yet. They still think the left makes some reasonable points and can be worked with. They don't comprehend being made dupes, and rendering the right completely powerless to stop liberal tyranny. They had rather rest on their stupid libertarian principles, than understand what our foundation as a nation is all about, and why we are conservatives in the first place. Rather than knowing we are endowed rights by our Creator, they want to think we are endowed our rights by man, he just needs to be a libertarian man!

Like I said, I have no problems with Whitman, I would probably vote for her. I see presidential elections different than an ideological buffoon such as yourself, I see it as a two-sided affair, and my vote and support goes to the best choice available. Since I've been voting, that has more often than not, been the Republican candidate. Not being an ideologue, I can accept that whomever I pick, is not going to represent ALL of my ideals, and may even contradict some of them, but they are still the best of the two choices.
