The conservative revolution showed us that. It defeated our naive view that progress comes with time, and that our opponents are reasonable and rational actors. We must fight to institute right, and we must never falter, never fail, else we could be dooming generations in the future to conservatism. Political peace in the United States has never come from sitting down with your enemies and singing Kumbaya, and Obama was a naive fool to think so. Political peace shall only come with the complete and total annihlation of conservatism as a political force in the United States.
 
Palin, Palin, Palin, I don't understand why there is so much talk about her running against Obama in 2012. I absolutely guarantee that should she ever look anything like a front runner that Newt Gingrich will announce his candidacy and then proceed to beat ol' Sarah like a drum. Hell, I think he's beat any of the republicans that are expected to run. On policy he knows more than the rest of the potential field combined. Seriously, why would anyone in the republican party even give Palin a second look when they have a legitimate threat sitting right there waiting to run.

Conservatism has its place....BUT it certainly is NOT at the top of the pile.
1.Peace can never happen as long as men have freedoms.
2.Peace can never exist as long as men are not free.
3.Therefore peace can never exist.

I can be peaceful and I can strive to bring peace to my nearest and dearest. More than that will never be possible for longer than a blink of an eye.

Wish you were right but the US could not function as a peaceful nation. Its economy and well-being depend on permanent conflict.

do not underestimate the american publics willingness to elect the dumbest candidate possible because they can imagine "having a beer" with that person. The proles of america are easily swayed in either direction.

I believe palin could theoretically win, but in reality she would say too many dumb things and it would be soundbyte after soundbye of her being the stupidest fucking idiot alive.

Walking down our High Street the other day I thought I saw an old friend. At the same time he looked and thought he saw me. When we met we discovered it was neither of us.

Luckily the economy is starting to move forward, and the Republicans have, in my opinion spent there bag of tricks with the American people.

You can win an election or two by crying wolf (or socialism), but soon enough people wise up to the game.

Remember when we were going to suffer a terrorist attack if Obama got elected? They were going to test him due to his inexperience within 6 months?

Remember when we were surely faceing a double dip recession? Hum, I wonder why they dont credit Obama for preventing that?

Remember when were were going to face Death Pannels?

Remember when the federal resonce to the oil sipll was going to be Obama's KAtrina?

I can't speak for Palin, but I certainly have that ability. I get email alerts from NASA certain times of the year, to avoid spending too much time outdoors, specifically to avoid a cataclysmic event. There is actually another Living Legend like me in China, which creates the gyroscopic effect that prevents us from spinning out into the universe uncontrollably. Sorry, I thought you knew! :dunno:
